Starting in the grass by the beach at Island Lake you can take your time as you move up on the bike path and turn off into park running toward the shore of Trout Lake. There you’ll navigate around the lake and follow the trail back to the start line. At the start line you’ll have access to your personal belongings along with a fully stocked aid station. Overnight we’ll have a bon fire burning and Saturday afternoon we’ll have a luau (beer garden and food trucks) ready for you when you’re done with your race. All participants will receive a leis, medals for those that finish an ultra distance (50k, 50 Mile, 100k) and a belt buckle for those that finish 100 miles.
A two mile loop allows participants continued access to aid and their crews, you can stop and rest as often as you’d like, heck you can even go home and come back if you need to! A short course allows you the ability to get to know everyone on the course and if you forgot something your last time through don’t worry mon, you’ll be back in 2 miles.
